I’ve been launching several projects lately so I’ve thought a lot about how to pursue the right idea. It can be so hard! Sometimes you don’t realize that you’ve chosen “the wrong” idea until you’ve launched and have spend a significant amount of time on it.
So what method can you use to choose the right types of ideas for you? Put on your passion glasses.
Its just a simple analogy. There are three things that are important to consider:
- Does it solve a problem? – (preferably, your problem)
- Does the market indicate that it needs it?
- Are you passionate about it?
Better yet – combine all three: Look for ideas that either A.) solve a problem or B.) that the market has indicated that it needs, but be sure to do all this while looking through your passion glasses..
In other words, filter out the ideas that you aren’t excited about or sincerely interested in and focus on the ones you are.
