I had some extra time, so I wanted to do some free touch-ups for some of my past clients.

I build BallardLawIdaho.com a few months ago, and the original version had this FAQ page:

The first problem was that it was a rather hacked-together version of toggles. I made it look like it was a toggle, but it was really just a link to another page. Quite well-hacked I must say, but hacked none-the-less.

The second problem was that the functionality was just not as friendly as it could be. Once the list of questions became long, the page was cumbersome, and most people didn’t want to scroll through a whole page looking for their question. It would be much easier to have all the questions at the top, so that is what I did for the new FAQ pages:

All the questions are at the top, and clicking on the question links to the question on the same page. There are also nice horizontal lines for separation of space and a “return to top” link at the bottom of each page.

I think it was a good improvement.
